Glycine by Pure Encapsulations supports healthy detoxification by promoting optimal liver and kidney function.
Glycine is the simplest amino acids. It is the abundant in the body and is not considered an “essential” amino acid because it can be made in the body from other chemicals. However, supplementation with glycine, such as Glycine by Pure Encapsulations, has been shown to support healthy kidney and liver function, as well as nervous system health. Studies suggest that glycine has the potential to support memory and mental function. A human trial showed that glycine acted as an inhibitory amino acid and demonstrated neuroprotective effects. Additional studies suggest that glycine plays a protective role for the kidneys and liver specifically by encouraging detoxification of certain chemicals. Glycine by Pure Encapsulations has also been shown to sustain healthy cytokine production amid occasional metabolic stress.
Glycine by Pure Encapsulations supports liver and kidney function by encouraging healthy detoxification, and may also benefit memory and cognitive function.
