Suggested Use: As a dietary supplement, take one capsule daily, preferably with meals. For intensive use, take up to 5 capsules daily, under the supervision of a health care practitioner.
Animal studies suggest that antacids, particularly those containing calcium carbonate, may reduce the body's ability to absorb chromium.
Chromium supplements may interact with certain diabetes medications such as insulin, metformin, and sulfonylureas. Carefully monitor blood sugar levels if you are concurrently taking chromium with these medications.Medical supervision in these cases is advised.
Corticosteroids may increase the need for chromium.
