Most of us have experienced the occasional headache, and they can be quite a pain! Headaches are unpleasant pains that cause pressure or aching in your head. They can occur on both sides of your head, and happen most often in the forehead, temples, and back of the neck. Typically, headaches are temporary and usually last for a few hours. Migraines, however, are intense or severe forms of headaches, with additional symptoms including nausea, pain behind eyes/ears, seeing spots or flashing lights, sensitivity to light, blurred vision, and vomiting. They can last anywhere from a few hours to a few days! Pain from a migraine can be moderate to severe, sometimes even inhibiting individuals from performing daily tasks.
